The Cisco Meraki MX84 (MX84-HW) is a 1U rack-mountable, cloud-managed enterprise security and SD-WAN appliance designed for medium branch deployments supporting up to 200 clients. It delivers 500 Mbps stateful firewall throughput, 250 Mbps maximum VPN throughput, and up to 100 concurrent VPN tunnels, with interfaces including 2x dedicated WAN GbE RJ45, 8x LAN GbE RJ45, 2x GbE SFP, and 1x USB port for cellular failover. Security features include L3/L7 stateful firewall, SNORT-based IDS/IPS, Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), content filtering, and Auto VPN, all centrally managed via the Cisco Meraki Dashboard.
