HOW IT WORKS

From inventory list to payment.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you have

Submit the form below. Upload an inventory list, share photos, or just describe what you have. Single items and full facility decommissions both welcome.

  2. 02

    We review and quote

Our team reviews the equipment against current market comps. Most quotes come back within 48 hours. We will tell you what we can buy, what we cannot, and why.

  3. 03

    We confirm logistics

Once you accept the quote, we coordinate pickup, packaging, and data sanitization if applicable. We work with your facilities and IT teams directly.

  4. 04

    We take it in

Equipment moves through documented chain of custody from your dock to ours. Serial numbers are reconciled at pickup and again at intake.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions we hear often.

Capilleh buys technical equipment across four areas: datacenter hardware (servers, storage, GPUs, networking), enterprise networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, optics), professional audio-visual systems (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, conferencing), and physical security equipment (IP cameras, NVRs, access control). If your equipment falls outside these categories, send us the list anyway — we may know the right buyer in our network.
Most quotes come back within 48 hours of submission, often faster for clean inventory lists with model numbers. Large or complex jobs (full facility decommissions, mixed-vintage gear) may take longer, but we will acknowledge the submission within one business day with a realistic timeline.
Yes. We coordinate freight and pickup nationwide across the continental US. For dock-loaded pallets we arrange common-carrier freight; for facility decommissions we send dedicated crews. Pickup cost is usually included in the quoted offer.
We follow NIST 800-88 standards for data sanitization. Drives can be wiped on-site at your facility before transport, or wiped and physically destroyed at our intake. We issue per-drive Certificates of Destruction with serial numbers documented.
For every transaction: a signed bill of sale, an inventory reconciliation document at pickup, and a final settlement document at payment. For data-bearing equipment: per-drive Certificates of Destruction. For equipment routed to recycling: Certificates of Recycling from our R2-certified partners.
Tell us in the description. Mixed-condition lots are common — a working condition assessment is part of our intake. Working units are quoted at higher value; non-working units may still have parts value, scrap value, or qualify for documented recycling. We are honest about what each item is worth.
Pricing reflects current market demand for the specific model, age and condition of the unit, completeness (rails, modules, cables), and the cost of pickup and processing. We benchmark against active marketplace data, not retail list prices. We share the reasoning behind any quote on request.
If the equipment has no resale value or you need certified disposal for compliance reasons (NDAA, data sensitivity, end-of-life e-waste), we coordinate with R2-certified recycling partners. We will tell you upfront whether your equipment is a buyback candidate or a recycling job.
